This position is responsible for the configuration and deployment of the platform solutions in accordance with the the client's needs and requests and serves as a point of contact for client consultation on projects as needed. This role is the front line for support requests that are received from end users and also helps to collect and analyze user metrics in support of client requests. The Sr. Project Specialist assists the PM in the execution of the implementation plan for assigned projects, drafts and edits content for the project's tenant, and helps to train new, entry-level employees.  This role is also responsible for meeting agendas and minutes, which is integral for documenting key decisions and action items.  This role supports internal cross-team initiatives and helps to manage migrations of data from multiple vendors. This position is responsible for configuration, deployment and support of DrugDev Spark technology solutions in accordance with the company’s/client’s strategic project plan. This individual will work collaboratively within their project team to ensure DrugDev Spark technology deployments are aligned with customer requirements. This individual will also directly support and consult with our client's clinical operations team's ongoing use of the platform and often will act as an extension of our client’s clinical trial operational function. Typical duties include implementing programs for use of DrugDev Spark solutions, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members, and monitoring progress toward project achievement.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for configuration and deployment of DrugDev Spark Platform solutions in accordance with the client’s needs and requests
  • Serve as front line for support requests that are received from end users
  • Provide support and education for our technology to clients, CROs, and sites
  • Assist project manager in the execution of the implementation plan for assigned projects
  • Assist with management of platform users based on project-specific processes and client needs
  • Collect and analyze user metrics
  • Support internal cross-project team support as resources and client needs scale
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with clients
  • Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes (documenting key decisions and action items)
  • Manage migration of data from multiple vendors (e.g. IXRS, CTMS, etc.) into DrugDev Spark Platform

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Must have BA/BS degree, preferably in a business, science/health care field, information systems, technology or equivalent degree and/or related experience.
  • Prior experience at a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, clinical research, or healthcare technology company preferred.
  • Experience working with and implementing technology solutions a plus.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Mac OS, HTML, etc.)
  • Knowledge of clinical trial process (preferred)
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and self-motivate when required to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a global company with a team-oriented environment
