PPD Digital is PPD’s solution to the growing digitalization and virtual trial requirements. PPD Digital offers flexible trial solutions across the digital spectrum to increase patient access and improve the patient experience, resulting in time efficiencies and data quality enhancements.

PPD Digital links PPD assets drawing upon our operational, patient centered research and regulatory expertise. We design the optimal flexible strategy to extend patient reach and enhance data collection utilizing PPD assets and industry-leading technology and healthcare organizations.

About the position:

The Digital team is looking for a Senior Pricing Specialist for our Digital group (otherwise known as a Sr. Digital Bidding Specialist at PPD) to support financial objectives by leading and developing high quality, customer focused proposals. This role collaborates with company leaders and sponsors to produce end product and should have sound knowledge of the clinical research industry.

Job Description:

Evaluates clinical trial RFPs and participates in strategy calls to determine the most effective bid strategy for digital solutions.Liaises with business development, contracts and proposals, and operations teams to ensure that the digital proposal and strategy meet the business needs.Consults with internal subject matter experts to determine labor requirements, develops processes for non-standard activities, confirms client specific bidding standards and verifies assumptions on specifications not identified in RFP.Modifies the proposal text to reflect study requirements and assumptions specific to the opportunity and ensures proposal text aligns with budget.Reviews client grids to ensure accuracy of mapping and unit definitions.Prepares proposals and revisions for basic to moderately complex opportunities.May interact with client to assist in determining requirements and service levels.Attends bid review to present and defend budget to senior management.Updates and maintains corporate databases as required and ensures accurate information is included in tracking reports.
