Director, Biostatistics

Job Description The Director is responsible to lead, manage and support the departmental or functional team and processes to ensure that Parexel delivers quality projects to its clients and achieves agreed revenue margins. Guide ongoing training, career development and Management processes within the department or function. The Director is responsible to ensure client projects are resourced with suitably developed professionals and to ensure appropriate retention plans are in place to develop and retain these professionals within Parexel. The Director is responsible to promote new business by participating in project bids and client presentations as appropriate. The Director is responsible to provide expertise and consultation to project teams. The Director is an experienced leader responsible for liaising with senior levels or management within the organization to continuously assess and improve operational project delivery. QualificationsQualifications Advanced ability to manage and motivate direct reports Advanced ability to successfully manage a full workload across multiple-projects. Demonstrated strength in managing Managers and leading diverse teams Outstanding negotiation and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (including experience in making presentations at conferences, meetings, training sessions) Demonstrable experience of stakeholder/relationship management with a client focused approach to work. Able to understand the business implications of decisions and impact on customer A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning Advanced ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail Ability to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook Excellent negotiation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
