Test Automation Engineer – Cyber Security

As a member of IQVIA’s Information Security team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and technical direction on the delivery of IQVIA’s enterprise information security solutions and capabilities.

The IQVIA information security landscape consists of both custom-built solutions, SaaS/cloud services, and commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.  This role may interact with a wide variety of stakeholders within the company as well as with vendor partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Designing and developing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines.
• Researching issues in software through testing.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Software Developers and other Testers to improve test automation qualities and coverage.
• Design, automate, and execute system performance and capacity testing.
• Participate in test environments topology definition and planning.  Validate test environment readiness when required.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews as needed to ensure system testability.
• Assist with test planning, test scope definition, test case reviews.             
• Instruct and mentor test team members.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong experience as a test automation engineer.  Extensive experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Experience with software development and test tracking systems such as Jira.
• Excellent mathematical and strong problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail oriented.
• Self-development skills to keep up to date with rapidly changing industry trends.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Information Security/Cyber Security industry experience.
• Cloud services experience.
• Test automation framework, programming, scripting experiences such as Jenkins, Selenium, Python, HTML, XML etc.
• System infrastructure and integration knowledge and experience.
• Tools experience such as Jira, Jira plug-in Test Rail, Service Now.
