The Training Specialist develops, coordinates, delivers, maintains, and updates instructionally sound and engaging training for the clinical development organization in support of strategic and functional initiatives to enable adoption. This role supports major cross-functional initiatives such as clinical trial management system implementation, organizational redesign, and process changes.

Key Accountabilities:

The core services the Training Specialist is accountable for include:

•Identification of training and development needs through consulting with stakeholders, evaluation of learning metrics, input from super users

•Development of training materials including WalkMe (in-system) guidance, self-paced materials, and instructor-led offerings

•Organization, coordination, and delivery of training for cross-functional staff, primarily related to initiatives and project management

•Evaluation of effectiveness of training programs contributing to effective training budget management

•Using internal/external peer networks to identify trends and develop training related skills. Implement new training techniques as applicable

Skills:

•Demonstrates an appreciation and at least basic understanding of good design principles

•Ability to interact with all levels within the organization

•Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

•Strong client and quality focused approach to work

•Excellent facilitation skills (negotiable if demonstrated superior design competencies)

•Aptitude to transfer skills and knowledge to a diverse audience and be able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

•IT literate – experience with Microsoft applications and general knowledge of LMS type systems

•Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation with professional approach to all responsibilities

•Demonstrate abilities in problem solving

•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills QualificationsKnowledge and Experience:

•Experience in corporate education/training development or delivery preferred

•Experience or willingness to learn Articulate 360, WalkMe and other design applications, as needed

•Language Skills: Highly competent in both written and oral English

Education:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in clinical, scientific, or learning and development field
