The AD, Marketing - Graphic Design manages graphic designers, directing creative strategy and project management. Leads design and development of branding, graphics and visual strategies for internal and external audiences. Exhibits creative leadership, working closely with teams to establish visual identities, creative approaches and innovative designs for client opportunities. Researches, plans, implements and measures creative initiatives at strategic levels. Ensures strong collaboration with other business marketing teams. Leads cross-functional groups as a project manager and brings creative solutions to challenging problems and issues.

Responsibilities: Collaborates creatively with stakeholders across the department to ensure materials promote and develop the organization's brand. Serves as creative lead on key design projects, working closely with senior leadership to develop graphics and visual treatments. Establishes processes and serves as overall traffic manager for creative projects. Supports the growth and expansion of client relationships through prospective and targeted selling, developing creative, high quality designs to aid in winning key business opportunities. Strengthens corporate brand/image by ensuring consistent, accurate branding of all elements across multiple marketing and communications channels. Serves as liaison between the organization and its customers, partners, trade associations, outside vendors, and media audiences. Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Assists in creation of graphic designs (e.g., art, color themes, photographs, web pages) and photography and video to support the organization's image, identity and brands. Meets with internal stakeholders to review strategic objectives and strategize to produce complimentary creative design. Ensure alignment and adherence with brand guidelines, providing creative quality control over concepts and execution. Develops and maintains the organization's graphics standards, techniques and methods. Expert ability as either a graphic designer and must possess advanced skills in technologies and software related to video/animation development and production. Management and implementation of on-line project management system to ensure projects are submitted, reviewed and completed on time, with high quality deliverables Post-production management, including filing of source files and ongoing measurement and improvement to ensure the efficiency of creative design services for optimal output

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree is required Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10 years) 5 years of management responsibility

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced proficiency in print design, graphic design, multimedia, digital, photography Ability to prepare files for print, perform press checks, and manage print production and print vendors Proven planning, organizational and multi-task project management skills Demonstrated attention to detail Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat software) Advanced proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a quality product Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, effectively prioritizing as needed Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and content management systems Demonstrated initiative and strategic thinking
