Academy Solution Manager, APAC

This position is responsible for Business Development for Academy business in Greater China, including developing new clients and penetrating up-sell business from existing clients (from both Study Sites and Sponsors), eventually benefit the growth for Parexel CRS business and clinical trial professionals.

This position is responsible for partnering with all the business leaders and external customers to manage program execution according to the business needs in China, and this position is responsible to ensure a high-quality experience for program participants and clients from both pharma and study sites.

Key Accountabilities

Business Development for Parexel Academy and Parexel - 45%

• Regularly explore new client information for business development and client visiting, including: Develop Study Sites clients by visiting; Running potential client list from Sales Force; Contact Commercial team for co-visiting or referral; Cold Call or knock door emails etc.,

KPI: 20 new clients per quarter, set up 3 client meetings per month;

• Analyze and Organize client meeting and explore for learning needs analysis discussion, including coordinate schedule, virtual / set up physical meeting room/ analyze both client organization and participants/ design and set up meeting agenda/ Design SPIN questions to facilitate meeting/ provide meeting minutes and follow up key action items.

KPI: Meeting setup – 3 hours per request; Meeting Minutes – within 4 hours; 100% follow up to (Parexel) action items;

• Consult Trainer and business leaders' comments and provide Academy solution proposal based on standard template to Academy manager and Director for approval; Send out the proposal and follow up for business award.

KPI: Proposal timeline - within 7 days upon clients request; first follow up within 1 working day; Hit Ratio of business development 50%

• Quarterly contact with existing clients and provide valuable marketing information or project execution annual review report to penetrate new repeated business from existing clients.

KPI: five existing clients per quarter

• As soon as client award business, inform commercial team to support project set up, and organize proposal description meeting and follow up contract agreement progression until accomplishment.

KPI: Organize proposal description meeting within 3 hours upon clients’ award information received;

• Weekly organize business update meeting to ensure business development activities on track; Monthly save clients’ profiles into Shared Point to ensure data complete and trackable.

KPI: Turn Around Time of the update and data saving activities, accuracy of data record.

Manage Academy Project Execution - 35%

• Organize contract execution kick off meeting to ensure clients have clear picture about Parexel Academy services, as well as execution schedules; Organize regular client meeting for contract progression review and forecasting

KPI:

(1) Within one week upon contract signed off;

(2) Regular meeting – Monthly for major account

• Build individual workshop execution plan and coordinate with client and team for workshop execution, include but not limited to: Coordinate with clients, trainers about the delivery schedule, location, participant list, conduct method (f2f, virtual), testing, pre survey, materials logistics arrangement etc.,

QualificationsCompetency

• Strong self-motivated resilience in business development;

• Strong experiences in working with study sites in China, and have strong regulatory/clinical research process knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;

• Ability to liaise with clients and partners in a professional manner

• Strong computer (MS-Office) and internet skills

• Maximize resources in planning and project management;

• Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

• Sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple and varied tasks; Equally important ability to work in a matrix environment and function effectively as a team member

• Ability to travel as needed for the position

Education

• BSc degree in life science

• Professional L&D qualification desired

• Clinical research working experience or knowledge is a plus

Language Skills

• Chinese native speaker

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Minimum Work Experience: 1-2 years working experience in commercial roles or CRA roles in MNC pharmaceutical company
