2158 - Software Test Engineer 2

As an Integration Test Engineer at IQVIA, you will be working to improve the reliability and performance of our client / Server applications with a small team of engineers to perfect our next generation application. Requirements include, figuring out technology puzzles, hates disorganization and lives to identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs; sticking with a task until completion.

Principle Accountabilities:
•    Be a Lead Tester who can test a complex solution and work independently (including ETL, data lake, query APIs with containerization deployment
•    Design and run manual /automated quality test, as well as performance tests
•    Review agile functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables to enable development of good test scenarios
•    Identify defects and impact on the solutions
•    Deliver high quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
•    Collaborate with globally distributed Product Management and Development on Agile teams
•    Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of software
•    Follow process by adhering to documented methodology.  Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects
•    Should be able to perform manual testing or create test cases or create automate test scripts depending on the need of the team
Technical skills
•    Selenium
•    Appium
•    Java / C / Ruby
•    Code analysis and debugging capabilities
•    Java Script / VB Script
•    Build tools [Ant/Jenkins/Gitlab Runners]
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
•    Degree in Computer Science or a related subject is preferred
•    5+ years of relevant QA Automation Engineering experience
•    Experience in testing iOS apps and/or salesforce.com apps or performing ui automation for either is a plus
•    Experience testing cloud-based application, and docker and kubernetes deployments
•    Prior experience in using test automation suites like appium and selenium is a plus
•    Prior experience in using tools like Testrail, jira and confluence is a plus
•    Good analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills required
