Sr Data Scientist, Advanced Analytics

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate at client meetings for complex proposals to present IQVIA advanced analytic methodologies to clients and to bring credibility for IQVIA teams
  • Present study findings to clients and translate analytic outputs to business impact and recommend actions to clients to improve their business performance
  • This position is frequently called upon by practice leaders, sr. principals, principals, and sales teams to handle the most complex and difficult client interactions and communications during the business development phase and during the client delivery phase
  • This position is responsible for thought leadership and innovation to upgrade IMS service and consulting analytic offerings. 
  • This position is responsible for developing conference presentations and innovative solutions. Developing the new offerings, designing custom analytic methodologies to meet complicated client challenges
  • Works with cross-functional team to support machine-learning algorithms on big data platform to solve a variety of business problems.
  • Apply machine learning, data mining technologies in developing innovative solutions in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including such areas as data collection, normalization, transformation, embedding, visualization, etc.
  • Support customized projects by designing and implementing statistical platforms
  • The associated revenue  for ML/AI offerings is targeted for significant growth from the current $30M annually to $100M annually by 2021.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Statistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related field with a strong focus on quantitative analysis and Machine Learning solutions
  • Strong ability to solve complex AI/ML problems and develop innovative approaches to meet business needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Comfortable presenting data and findings to internal and external audiences
