Senior Director, Enterprise Information Services

As part of Parexel's Enterprise Information management team, the Senior Director of Enterprise Information Services provides strategic direction and operational management for all aspects of enterprise information and data.

Responsibilities Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Business Stakeholders to articulate long-term capability needs and shape future looking, cloud-based technology roadmaps. Define, articulate, and promote the IT Services built by the Enterprise Information Management organization and made available to the business and IT at Parexel. Provide innovation and technical leadership to the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions to crucial business problems through thoughtful use of modern technology. Advance the adoption and use of ontologies towards data standardization and optimized design experiences for our data users. Prepare and present potential technical solutions. Promote a culture of data engineering and architectural excellence, using opportunities to promote reuse of existing solutions where possible. Communicate and drive highly complex technology solutions to broad audiences including executives, business leaders, product managers, legal experts, security specialists and software engineers Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders across the company to identify long-term opportunities, set strategy, and educate the organization on new data technologies. Advise business and product owners on the technical and business value of proposals, including appropriate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities. Work with data engineers, product owners and subject matter experts to understand complex technological and business environments and produce integrated end-to-end solution options Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills QualificationsQualifications Industry experience - Lifesciences; CRO or Pharmaceutical Demonstrated experience in operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using the Azure Data and Analytics platform and PowerBI. At least 12 years’ experience in data Engineering, Data Architecture or Solution design At least 8 years’ experience in data application design, development, and messaging 5+ years of experience in an IT leadership position in large enterprises.
