We are a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to improving patient healthcare through digital technologies. The primary function of this new role for our team is to assist in building and managing the ongoing development of websites, landing pages and microsites. In addition, you will be building digital assets such as HTML EDMs, HTML5 banners and other communication materials. Building out APIs and ensure our online platforms interface with the growing digital health environment is an ever-evolving priority. In the fast-moving digital healthcare space, attention to detail, regulatory compliance and a focus on quality are core features you will need to engage with.

As a member of our digital team, you will need to be agile in attitude, with the ability to manage a number of jobs at a time. Our work is project and deadline-driven, but changing requirements mean you are adaptable, enjoy challenges and learning about new technology. You will assist in our journey towards CI/CD.

The person we are looking for will be a good communicator and have an ability to take direction from and interact with a number of stakeholders within our team. You will work directly with the Digital Technologies Lead, who will provide strategy, direction, workload management and technical support. In addition you will work with a number of Project Managers who will provide project oversight and liaison with clients whose requirements drive all our projects.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Experience with open-source frameworks such as Drupal, Laravel, Wordpress
  • Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap
  • Exposure to Angular, React, Vue.JS
  • Some experience with databases (MYSQL, Azure)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and requirements
  • Exposure to Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator 
  • Exposure to setting up and managing hosting (ie, cPanel, AWS)
  • A small but impressive portfolio of projects
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications well-regarded but not essential (ie, B CompSci, or software-specific certification etc)
  • Exposure to CRMs such as Dynamix, Zoho, etc, well-regarded but not essential

You may be looking for a change, or coming from a junior role, but with good exposure to the above technologies and a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow your skillset. You will not be afraid to get your hands dirty with new technologies, but can pivot to providing technical support on when things go wrong, or specifications change. The role has opportunities for growth in building new products and services in the health sector that will help define your career.
