The Executive Director, Data Governance is responsible for the execution and delivery of all facets of an enterprise data strategy to competitively differentiate Parexel. This includes: engaging with business leaders and the heads of the business towers in Corporate IT to roadmap and deliver data insights that not only support rapid, actionable business decisions today, but also support them in evolving their businesses to the future. ensuring that data governance enables data analytics initiatives, data governance initiatives, and operational efficiency objectives across the Parexel enterprise. enhancing client service, business growth, timely response to data queries, data security, and reduction of risk due to inaccurate or mis-aligned data. applying business acumen to evaluate cost to benefit and support business case-based prioritization of resource and investments QualificationsExperience / Skills: 10+ years working in a Data Governance role 7+ years of line management experience Established experience successfully managing through influence. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills Proven success in change management skills – leading BU’s through change Outstanding negotiation and organizational skills Results-oriented leader Demonstrate strong cultural leadership skills aligned to the Parexel’s values of Respect, Empowerment and Accountability, Quality, Patients First and We Care. Demonstrated proficiency in political savvy, organizational savvy, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to understand near term and long-term needs for Parexel and determine how data strategy needs to evolve and realigned to meet such needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate, negotiate, and influence effectively with all stakeholders at the firm.

Education: Bachelors Degree, Advanced Degree desirable
