We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a RegionalField Manager, CV Medical Science Liaisons.

The Regional Field Manager is responsible for leading a CV Medical Science Liaison (MSL) regional team in providing scientific, research, and educational support to health care professionals and internal business partners related to Coronary Artery Disease. The Field Manager is responsible for providing oversight of all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines.

Responsibilitiesfor the management of a regional CV MSL team including:

  • Ensure that team functions are according to the business plan and company directives
  • Conducts routine team field visits and 1:1 meetings, providing observation and coaching
  • Conduct performance coaching and feedback discussions
  • Provide oversight responsibility for team’s training and development
  • Ensure team optimal capacity, field activity level, and field metrics
  • Ensures each MSL territory plan is strategic, up to date and actionable.
  • Manages the team through special projects and cross functional support activities
  • Recruit, select and hire a qualified and diverse work force for the regional CV MSL team.
  • Responsible for timely completion of administrative duties.  Examples include assessment and approval of expense reports, preparation and communication of team metric reports, among others.
  • Participate in business planning activities as necessary within Medical Affairs.
  • Ensures effective and efficient collection and distribution of medical insights to appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Participates and/or leads cross functional/company initiatives
  • Budget and timeline control on MSL activities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (APN, PA) required, advanced degree (MD, PhD or PharmD) preferred.
  • Cardiology/Anticoagulation experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience. (pharma preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical field management required
  • Previous MSL experience required
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 75%

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with Key Contacts required
  • Working knowledge of US health care systems is required.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and commercial compliance issues relating to dissemination of scientific information required.
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing and communication skills required.
  • Experience in working within a matrix environment is desired.
  • Must have a valid U.S driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to use field-based electronic or other communication tools for all aspects of job, as required
