Job Summary Responsible for shipping and receiving support for the entire site.Ensure the orderly stocking and/or timely delivery of merchandise.Provide daily supervision of personnel and operations to ensure achievement of company goals.Independently handle basic personnel-related issues; assist in the handling of more complex personnel-related issues.

Duties:

Plan and manage employees’ schedules according to established budget and the volume of merchandise to process;

Guide, encourage and motivate employees;

Ensure availability of labour, tools and equipment as required to carry out tasks;

Coordinate shipment schedule and workload;

Experience in general international shipping and basic requirements

Good communicating skills – dealing with government agencies, scientific and technical staff

Bilingual

Verify and organize Test/Control Item, biological samples and equipment for expedition; appropriate documents for the sponsor or sub-contractor

Fill appropriate documents from the courier;

Track the shipments until delivery and notify appropriate persons;

Keep CITES inventories up to date and request CITES as deemed necessary;

Work with team leaders, supervisors, scientists, Labs and Toxicology as well as other departments’ staff, study directors to work effectively;

Maximize the utilization of all resources;

Manage time effectively

Minimize cost whenever possible;

Remain informed on all legislation and developments related to job through education and external training;

Substitute and/or assist department colleagues;

Perform other duties as requested by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 4-6 years related experience.
