Job Overview
Provide support to a staffing team and sourcing of external candidates for an assigned business unit/department within clinical research, primarily in one geography. Partner with Recruiter and Hiring Manager to identify talent needs - clearly define the key skill to source each job requisition. The position will be office-based in one of our offices.
Essential Functions
- Establish and maintain sourcing activities through a diverse set of channels to attract top talent (internal and external databases, LinkedIn, job boards…)
- Present screened, qualified candidates to recruitment teams to be presented to hiring stakeholders across the business
- Assist with the development of specific recruiting plans to meet staffing requirements for assigned business units or departments
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, etc. as a source to generate qualified candidates.
- Provide information, as required, on company operations and job opportunities to potential candidates. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
- Provide reports and maintain data on recruiting activities as required.
- Keep appraised of regional and local employment laws and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a sourcing function – preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
- Fluent English language skills – other language skills are beneficial
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS/CRM applications (Workday, Yello, Taleo or similar)
- Good knowledge of local and relevant employment laws and market insight
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
- Demonstrate very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
