The QC Proposal Specialist edits and reviews proposal documents thatcomply with established best practices for proposal development and style guide for grammar, punctuation and use of charts, graphics and diagrams. Prepares and reviews text to generate responses to client requests for information (RFIs), contributing to the value-added differentiators and creating and editing documents that accurately and consistently position PPD’s services, products and expertise as the optimal choice for project award.

Essential Functis: Reviews documents and responses to RFIs and RFPs from clients utilizing appropriate tools and subject matter experts to obtain data, text, and information. Evaluates information and final proposal to determine that response meets client's request and follows up with contributors to close any gaps. Assists designated lead with tasks defined by opportunity (i.e. competitive landscape searches, slide creation, org chart creation). Analyzes documents created within or outside of PPD in order to ensure a quality standard and ensure compliance with best practices. Reviews and edits, as appropriate, operational, BD, C&PD input to PPD proposals, applying value-added differentiators to create documents that position PPD to clients as the top choice for award, streamlining text to ensure an overall message and positioning. Liaises with subject matter experts to establish project-specific (therapeutic, client, system etc.) context for positioning PPD’s proposal to client’s needs. Contributes to the development of library text that can be used for proposal and RFI responses.

Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
