Education and Experience:BA/BS degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field5 years of programming and clinical research or related experienceMust have database management, SAS or PL/SQL programming experienceSupervisory experience requiredOr the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in managing and developing staff and their career objectives including the ability to motivate and inspire staffAbility to train, supervise, and mentor othersAbility to facilitate communications with clients, project teams, departments and staffAbility to make decisions on company policies and procedures regarding programmingUnderstand and track project budgetsUnderstand and participate in bidding programming workDemonstrate leadership and problem solving capabilityKnowledge of clinical trialsUnderstanding of relational data base structure and experience working with complex data systemsExperience demonstrating a strong attention to detailAbility to effectively organize and manage multiple staff and assignmentsExperience demonstrating leadership ability and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary project teamExcellent problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to independently and effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelinesAbility to adapt and adjust to changing prioritiesDemonstrated positive attitude, enthusiasm toward work, and the ability to work well with othersDemonstrated leadership, initiative and motivationMust be proficient in at least one programming language and have strong technical skillsDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage projects and peopleAbility to interact with clients and assist management in business development presentations
