Manage a team of professionals responsible for all invoicing and collections for the GMP Laboratory. Includes interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime. Responsbile for AR management including potentially complex reconciliations, adherence to DSO targets, and collections. Work with BD/operations to resolve past-due AR while interfacing with external clients when necessary Monthly revenue recognition/reconciliation (Direct & Indirect) between source system and ERP/EPM/PPM Monthly balance sheet review and prepration/review of applicable account reconciliations Main point of contact for both internal and external audits Sales/Use tax management & reporting Advises and consults with Operations Finance team members and Operational Leads on financial matters, the potential impact of current risks, and opportunities to achieve business targets Provides analytical and decision-making support to leadership Supports business partners on operational and financial issues Provides ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special project results to senior management and clients as requested Manage a team of professionals responsible for all invoicing and collections for the GMP Laboratory. Bachelor’s Degree & CPA Required

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10 years) or equivalent and relevant combination of education, training, and experience (5 years). Prior audit and CRO experience preferred

Prior management experience with demonstrated ability to train, coach and developstaff

Strong business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data

Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines within a dynamic business environment; work with ambiguity and complexity
