Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Team Lead

The work we do spans the entire spectrum of enterprise feature development, data analytics at scale, UI design and development, statistical modelling, algorithm design as well as Natural Language Processing and machine learning. We tackle technical problems that will engage and challenge the brightest minds, and we have very big ambitions ahead of us for which we’re expanding our team.

In this role, you will:

• Champion the QA processes and focus on continuous improvement across features
• Develop and maintain test strategies and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the team of software testers
• Develop, enact and manage testing schedules ensuring the team meets expectations
• Identify, isolate, and communicate bugs effectively and efficiently
• Stay up to date with emerging QA technologies and best practices 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
• 2 – 3 Years experience leading test teams
• Extensive experience writing test strategies, test plans & test cases
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium & Protractor would be an asset) 
• Experience in all aspects of software testing (black & white box, regression, integration)
• Good working knowledge of technologies like Python & Shell scripting
• Experience with programming languages and debugging
• Experience with CI/CD Tools including Jenkins, Artifactory etc
• Ability to prioritize work tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and to think beyond "outside of the box"
• Ability to work and lead a team in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux and Microsoft)
• Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS & Azure)
• Previous experience in an Agile development environment an asset
