Finance Analyst, Home-Based USA, IQVIA Biotech

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

To support the Finance Manager, NA in provision of timely and accurate departmental budgets/forecasts and performance against those budgets/forecasts

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modelling department cost forecasts/budgets
• Loading of department cost forecasts/budgets into Hyperion
• Monthly department reporting for departments
• GDN monthly reporting
• Derivation of backlog forecast by department from project backlog files
• Calculation and provision of monthly metrics for business optimization
• Supporting the business with PO’s, coding and other finance admin tasks
• Ad hoc financial modelling/reporting as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables etc.) skills
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff within the finance and operational teams
• Experience in working in a financial role
• Communicates effectively (verbal and written) with office based and remote based, finance and non-finance minded individuals
• Ability to analyze and organize work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with large accounting systems such as Peoplesoft and Hyperion an advantage

CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ADA CRITERIA:

• Very little physical effort required to perform normal job duties.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 3 years’ experience in an analytical or accounting role

CLASSIFICATION (US): 

This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act; employees are not eligible for overtime compensation
