Responsible for supporting the strategy of change management within the Learning and Development domain. This is a business facing role that will address one of our most complex and ambitious initiatives and will be creating the change management strategies that balance measurable adoption results with rapid, incremental delivery accounting for unique business need and experience to prepare for and support change.  A great candidate is one who is comfortable working in ambiguous environments, willing to learn and respond to disparate site needs and accompanying culture. The position will require an individual to quickly be able to shift from creating strategic vision with an executive audience to tactical delivery in partnership with working team members.  A great candidate would also have new and exciting ideas for eye-catching communications.

 

This position is 100% Remote.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Build and execute change management strategies that create measurable impact on user adoption and proactively address resistance risks in support of the Learning and Development (L&D) department

•    Create and maintain executive level communications about direction of the L&D Change Management strategies, progress and vision

•    Partner with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team on areas of shared impact and need within Safety (SA)

•    Pull from multiple change methodologies to select what will be most effective for the specific stakeholders and initiatives, even if multi-phased and complex

•    Assesses change impact of complex solutions and aligns adoption approach to address impacts in order of risk

•    Focuses on defining success metrics and measurable outcomes for the people side of change

•    Plan and support delivery of core activities related to stakeholder assessment, change impacts, readiness assessments, communication, training, and sustainability of the change 

•    Confident working across departments, geographies and building a coalition of support at the local level 

•    Drives ongoing improvements in the value delivered by the adoption practice Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in business administration, organizational development, behavior, change management, communications or related discipline.  Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.) or equivalent strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 7 years related experience in people and change transformation, organizational development, project delivery work or a combination of the above.  

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Experience leading and implementing successful large-scale changes in global organizations

•    Network with stakeholders across the Safety (SA) organization to establish and share learnings, validate understanding surrounding global messaging and associated strategy

•    Ability to incorporate change strategies with any project methodology (e.g., Agile, waterfall, etc.)

•    Exceptional communication, facilitation and listening skills and ability to connect with all levels in an organization 

•    Proven ability to create a plan amid an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

•    Ability to “connect the dots” across a complex program of adoption needs

•    Experience using measures and analytics to tell the “people” story related to a change both to baseline current state and show progress in future state

•    Desire for working in highly collaborative environment

•    Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite required. 

•    Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required.

Preferred qualifications:

•    Prosci, CCMP or similar certification desired 

•    Experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
