  Job Summary  

We are seeking an Internship Cooperative Education Coordinator for our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility located Memphis, TN.

 

The Internship Cooperative Education Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an organized approach to Internship scheduling, intern placement within assigned department, and collaborating with department Managers to build lasting relations with educational institutions. Must be able to meet physical requirements established in this job description.

The following are responsibilities related to the Internship Cooperative Education Coordinator position:

  Manage daily tasks associated with hosting a minimum of 15 interns per semester. Responsible for organization of scheduling to accommodate intern class schedule and availability.  Provide resource information and guidance to interns throughout program including but not limited to Core Values Project and department project work. Assist in further development of Internship Program. Establishes development plan for all interns and assess job competency for possible future employment.  Maintaining Virtuosi system and implementing curricula as necessary. Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Internship Cooperative Education Coordinator position:

  Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science or related field. Minimum of 3-years GMP related experience in biopharmaceutical/ pharmaceutical or related industry. Ability to multi-task effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with various ages, learning styles, and personalities. Teaching experience is a plus. Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.   Perform other duties as assigned.
