Associate Director, HR, Poland & Eastern Europe

Location: Warsaw

Position Purpose

This role will be the primary Senior HR Business Partner responsible for providing strategic support and subject matter expertise on Human Resources topics to the GM and the local management team.

In addition to the above, the position will act as a HR point of reference for the whole East Europe cluster, supporting the Vice President, East Europe at a regional level on key HR-related topics like organizational changes, retention/development plans for key people, hiring plans for key positions etc. In this remit, will be responsible for coordinating and providing guidance to the HRBPs located in the EE cluster.

Accountabilities

Partner with the GM in Poland and senior management, facilitating alignment between HR agenda and company strategy
Build effective business relationships with internal stakeholders at local and regional level to proactively support their needs

Design and lead implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business, including organizational design and development, talent management and development, employee engagement initiatives

Closely work with Finance on headcount budgeting & forecasting

Effectively partner with the HR Operations Team to ensure best-in-class delivery on all HR matters such as performance management processes, salary review, benefits, training programs, employee relations

Sponsor and lead the implementation at a local level of global HR projects, programs and policies to support company strategy.

Liaise with Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence in order to ensure successful fulfillment of country’s hiring plans
Act as a Change Agent within the organization by leading activities and initiatives associated with change management
As member of the EMEA HR Leadership Team may take the ownership of specific EMEA-wide HR initiatives
Provide senior management with advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management
Work on the organization's values, culture, and philosophy

Required Education and Experience

University Degree 
8+ years of relevant and rounded Human Resources experience gained in multinational complex organizations, preferably in the B2B space
Previous experience with regional / multi-country assignments
Proficiency in English

Additional Requirements

Ability to work collaboratively across complex networks and create stakeholder engagement with internal clients both at local and international level

Experience working in a matrixed HR environment

Previous direct or functional people management experience
Proven experience of driving change management initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence the organization
Strong knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and manage projects
Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skillsCan-do attitude
