Information Security Analyst

Key Accountabilities:Contribute in the development/adoption and enforcement of Information Security policies, procedures and standards.Assist with the investigation of security breaches and other cyber security incidents.Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.Manage the response to associated stakeholders in regards to information security incidents like cyber-attacks and confidential disclosuresAssist IT security team during forensic investigationsPerform information security risk assessment of third partiesDevelop and maintain Information Security KPI’sMaintain an oversight and interpretation of information security laws and regulationsAssist with information security education and awareness programWork closely with Legal, Quality and Privacy to ensure and integrated approach of Information SecurityEnsure compliance through adequate training programs and periodic security audits. These audits should be both internal and external in nature.Coordinate social engineering and phishing testing campaignsManage individual information security program items as required#ITDurham QualificationsKnowledge and Experience: 2-3+ years’ experience as an Information Security Analyst or GRC Analyst. Experience with response to incidents, crises, and investigations with sensitivity, tenacity, and a focus on detail. Knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management.Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks as well as business continuity and IT disaster recovery frameworks. Ability to quickly grasp how new technologies work and how they might be applied to achieve business goalsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with a team, delivering high performance and customer satisfaction, in a culturally diverse, matrix management environment. Strong, proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion.Experience in working in a global / multi-national and therefore complex environmentDegree in a technology, business technology combination other relevant experience required.
