Job Summary Manage strategic IT projects across QA and Process Improvement, coordinating with IT and other departments across the organization; Manage staff and timely deliver software solutions that enable users to most effectively and efficiently manage clinical trials, lab operations, and other business processes; Participate in Medpace’s strategic planningprocess; Participate in business strategy discussions and present proposed systems solutions to senior management; Develop, enhance, implement, and enforce Medpace policies and procedures by way of systems orprocesses to improve overall operations and effectiveness; Coordinate with management to identify, develop, and implement system enhancements that maximize the value added to the overall business objectives; Perform fit/gap assessments during system discovery and requirements gathering phases; Bridge the communication gap betweenprocessowners and software development teams; Translate business requirements into written user requirements and system specifications for software development; Develop and implement enhancements to operating effectiveness and efficiency of globalprocesses; and Maintain compliance with applicable regional and country-level regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or information systems; 8+ years of experience in a Software Development environment; Experienced in clinical or laboratory environment preferred; Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, systems and processes; Demonstrated business acumen; Excellent project management skills; and Strong understanding of application programming, database and system design.
