Our ability to discover antibodies against challenging pMHC, pathogen toxin, GPCR and Ion Channel targets, as well as a novel high-throughput discovery of CAR-T, has resulted in the growth of our antibody discovery business.

We are seeking a candidate with relevant experience who possesses a broad knowledge in the fields of immunology, molecular immunology and antibody discovery. This position will lead a team driving the experimental design and execution of research in antibody discovery, cell biology, immunology, and assay development. Major responsibilities will include working with internalteams and external partners to define and interrogate relevant biology and antibody mechanism of action, to enable lead candidate selection with the goalof developing novel therapeutic approaches.

The following are minimum requirements related to theDirector, Immunologyposition:

Education: Ph.D. in Immunology, biochemistry and/or molecular biologyor related discipline preferred. Track record of publications and innovation. Experience: 10 years of laboratory experience in the contract research industry or pharmaceutical environment. At least 2 years management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Strong skills in cellular and molecular immunology, cancer immunology, and flow cytometry techniques. Expertise in generating and maintaining cell lines and primary immune cell cultures and antibody-related assays. Demonstrated ability to design and supervise all aspects of in vitro and in vivo cancer immunotherapy models. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and supervise experienced scientists. Other: Ability to design and deliver novel solutions to challening problems. Ability to critically evaluate written scientific documents for overall quality, clarity of presentation, and acceptability of scientific interpretation. Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast paced collaborative team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated proficiency in managing a laboratory area. Demonstrated knowledge and full understanding of regulatory requirements, site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company practices, and industry standards. Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
