As a Senior IT Auditor, you will play a significant role in evaluating, testing, and reporting on IT General Controls over financial systems. Your work and reporting provide senior management with the information needed to be confident financial systems are producing complete and accurate data for the financial reporting process. You will also have opportunities to perform audits of system implementations and be a part of PPD’s information security strategy. In addition, you will have an opportunity to develop or further your understanding of data analytics by assisting in support of the Internal Audit data analytics program.

ResponsibilitiesContributes to preparation of the IT Risk Assessment for audit planning.Execute walk throughs of IT General Controls for systems, applications and IT processing environmentsPlan, execute, and report on test of IT General Controls for applications in scope for financial reportingAccess ControlDatabase AdministrationChange Management / SDLCBackup & RecoveryPlan, execute, and report on test of Test IT General Control over processing environmentsPhysical & Environmental ControlsBusiness Continuity / Disaster RecoveryNetwork AdministrationVulnerability ManagementThreat ManagementConduct audits of IT systems, processes, and projects. Education and Experience:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science5 years of relevant experienceExperience auditing software development life cycle, networking, database administrationExperience auditing Windows and UNIX environmentsPreferred Experience:

3 years as an IT AuditorCISA or CISSP strongly preferredExperience with data analytics tools and/or SQL is a plus.Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work independently with limited daily supervisionAbility to manage effectively and efficiently manage several projects over long periodsOutstanding communication skillsAdvanced MS Office skills, especially ExcelAdvanced general knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, and IT control frameworksPPD values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
