Parexel is looking for an Archiving Assistant to support the clinical operations team in the Baltimore, MD EPCU by organizing, maintaining, and archiving study files, medical records, and other clinical records in compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards. This role is responsible for coordinating with the study team to stay ahead of the organizational process of both paper and electronic records.

Your Activities: Organizing and archiving of study documents and other clinical records indexing and administration of files Filing charts and case report forms by study, upon study closure and preparing them for archiving Developing and implementing organizational strategies for all clinical and study records, for both active records and records within the internal archive Labeling and maintaining inventory records for short- and long-term storage of documents Placing study files within the internal archive Preparing study files for long term storage Coordinating and organizing delivery to external storage facility Maintaining the file room in a neat and orderly fashion Ensure coverage of the file room Assess and provide organizational/filing support in clinical areas Organize and maintain electronic files within the clinic’s shared network drives Delivering incoming lab and medical reports to appropriate staff Requesting medical records from outside facilities Fulfilling medical records requests from third parties Training and mentoring other staff members as requested All other duties as assigned QualificationsYour Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong computer skills Excellent interpersonal communication Strong clerical expertise Ability to work independently Your Profile: High School Diploma or GED B.A or B.S. degree preferred Knowledge of medical records regulations Fluency in English, both verbal and written Relevant experience in methodical recording and filing of documents or comparable function EEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, which in the US includes race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
