Inventory Management Specialis

<h2>Job Overview:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; color: black;">The Supply Chain Analyst will work within a team responsible for the flow of product into, within and out of the company to ensure delivery plans are met. This includes the appropriate research and recommendations in prioritizing, expedite, or multiple source material. This role will interact with Kitting Operations, Sourcing, Procurement, Global Study Management and other cross-functional teams across the organization.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Major Responsibilities and Tasks</span></strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Lead inventory monitoring for world-class transaction integrity, analyses inventory levels, maintains documentation or specifications, and load / maintain systems with inventory and production data. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Monitors inventory, and open purchase orders for timely delivery on a daily basis.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Interacts with vendors to mitigate backorders or expedite orders, as needed.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Provides support to internal customers globally with documentation and subject matter knowledge.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Work with logistics, production, and vendors to resolve transportation and point of entry issues </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Track and regularly oh-hand inventory, anticipate future demand or supply chain issues that may impact ability to achieve on time delivery. Identify patterns and derive insights to improve operational efficiency and achieve key deliverables </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Conduct ad hoc analysis as required</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Monitor and replenish inventory items based on usage, demand, forecast, or communication from internal users.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to senior leaders </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Ensure integrity and accuracy of data within the Supply Chain team and flowing through from our business partners </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Assist with implementation of new reporting/analysis tools and dashboards </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Liaise with the different departments in our organization and our outside partners to follow up on any challenges or discrepancies within the data </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Participate /Lead in ad-hoc Analytical projects as needed</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Manage expiration stock levels to minimize waste, conduct timely transactions to properly liquidate and dispose of expired goods.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Prioritize daily tasks and special projects within inventory scope as directed by manager.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Assist in the development, maintenance and update of departmental procedures and departmental training files as needed.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Provide back-up coverage for Staff as needed.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Assists all internal customers with help in answering any questions pertaining to inventory items.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Ability to expedite transportation arrangements for needed deliveries </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Adheres to established SOPs and Universal Precaution guidelines at all times.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; color: black;">Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></strong><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Nonessential Functions</span></strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></strong></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Assist in all necessary steps pertaining to Freight Claims, Damaged Shipments, and Return Item Authorizations as applicable to inventory stock.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Other duties assigned by management.</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Required</span></strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; color: windowtext;">Normally Requires a 4 year degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience </span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Preferred</span></strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Bachelor’s degree </span></li></ul><h2>Experience:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Required</span></strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">2+ years of retail or consumer product experience preferred </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong analytical skills and capacity to evaluate information and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Background in operations, logistics and/or supply chain is a plus </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong written and verbal communication skills </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong attention to detail </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain deadlines </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Ability to build and maintain constructive and effective relationships across the business </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Excel / PowerPoint</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Preferred</span></strong></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Knowledge of medical terminology and lab practices</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Prior experience in lab setting</span></li></ul>
