ob Profile Summary  

Provide support for the continuous improvement of the Learning and Development (L&D) function through development and implementation for all Learning and Development programs in an assigned functional area, geography or assigned business line. With limited guidance, provide expertise, support and advice to assigned management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function.

Responsibilities
     Essential Functions
•    Develop strong and effective team relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence, e.g., HRPSC, Finance PSC.
•    Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the training team.
•    Establish and maintain effective communications with other L&D functional areas, to ensure quality delivery and outcomes are in alignment with strategy and design.
•    Where L&D function dictates, consult with business units or work groups and perform assessments around specific business performance-related issues, propose solutions and bring the resources of the Learning & Development/Human Resources community together to resolve
•    Where L&D functional area dictates, ensure courses are offered either on a regularly scheduled basis or scheduled as required to meet the needs of the business line, business unit and/or department.
•    Where L&D functional area dictates , prepare course material for training sessions and update and /or conduct training programs for employees or through assigned vendors.
•    Initiate and continue regular communication with management of assigned geography or business line to determine applicability of course content and training satisfaction levels.
•    Where L&D functional area dictates, participate in the execution of effective and efficient delivery of training programs using various modalities such as instructor-led and technology based training (TBT).
•    Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs and make recommendations to appropriate L&D functional area. Communicate resource needs to appropriate management as necessary.
•    Keep up to date on market trends and current development in the area of training and gather information of local competitor practices as required. Maintain a network of professional training contacts.
•    Conduct course evaluations and make recommendations to proper L&D functional area for continuous improvement. Identify and make recommendations for the learning program.
•    Ensure training administrators regularly update Learning Management System actions.
•    Participate in the development, preparation/modification and facilitation of education courses. .
•    Provide input to the training budget and expenses within assigned budget allocations.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience
Typically requires 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience.

Education  
High School Diploma or equivalent       

Additional Work Experience   
10 years experience in training assessment, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation experience  or equivalent combination of education, training and experience             

Skills and Abilities    
10 years experience in training assessment, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation experience        
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
