Biostatistician – the role

As an award winning CRO, we are offering a clear opportunity to Statisticians interested in applying their mathematics and science skills in an environment where there is opportunity for growth, experience and a real benefit to patient health. With a huge variety of projects, there is also the opportunity to work in areas of particular interest.

While projects vary, your typical responsibilities might include:

• Preparing analysis plans and writing detailed specifications for analysis files, tables, listings and figures
• Interpreting analyses and writing statistical sections of study reports
• Offering clear, user-friendly interpretations and explanations to colleagues and customers
• Providing training, guidance and mentorship to less experienced and new staff

You will need to be comfortable collaborating and communicating with a variety of colleagues and customers. You will also need to be detail focused, with a real understanding of the importance of quality in everything related to your role and IQVIA.

You should have:
• A minimum of an MSC in statistics or biostatistics
• Familiarity with clinical trials and using SAP
• Experience working with clients, as a project or statistical lead
• Alternatively, you should have an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
