Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with Sales, Customer Teams, Proposals and Contracts, the Therapeutic Science and Strategy Unit (TSSU), Project Leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop well thought out delivery strategies for CTEs and Site Training. Ensures operationally sound and cost-efficient/profitable budgets for proposals that help achieve NNB, GNB, and Profit Goals.  
  • Strengthen the link between the CTE & Site Training operational leads and the Proposal and Contract teams. Provides end-to-end business operations oversight from proposal development to work order. Supports contract triage once awarded to ensure scope retention. Serve as liaison from proposal to contract to support the project team with award transition to ensure customer satisfaction and timely kick-off of services.
  • Increase inclusion in RFPs and lead standalone CTE or Site Training opportunities.
  • Work across IQVIA’s service lines and with sales teams to cross-promote and respond to RFPs as well as develop internal relationships needed to create solutions designed using multiple services.  Facilitate marketing internally focusing service line differentiators and growing business line.
  • Maintain customer, proposal, and contract database/tracking systems.  Maintain reports to evaluate progress towards new business development and corporate revenue goals.
  • Support the development of proposal text and bid defense materials for CTEs and Site Training.
  • Handle inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external customers in a timely manner (mailbox & RFI management).

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of business operations or prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

Requires broad management knowledge to drive CTE & Site Training awards, and ability to influences others outside of own job area regarding RFP inclusion.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management

Additional Work Experience

Relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience

Or

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
