Qualifications:

• Diploma or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from a recognized higher education institution including courses in business/systems analysis, general programming and the use of software development tools

What a new hire will be responsible for:

• Provide input into configuration related production support issues as requested by the line of business or R&D team

• Work with BA to ensure all configuration requirements are captured and clarified to allow grooming technical stories and execute them without blockers

• Develop appropriately detailed stories for product configurations and features so that they are clearly understood by the technical and business teams

• Working with the Program Managers and Product team to establish configuration management procedures, effective micro project management, and delivery processes for the product/projects

• Assistance and support of backend or frontend development teams or/and troubleshooting issues of the application, if required

• Manage, monitor and document project/sprint stories/deliverables and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks of release to the line manager and Director of development

What experience a candidate is bringing to the team:

• Experience in managing projects, overseeing deliverables through all SDLC phases in Agile/Scrum project environment

• Working knowledge of software technology capabilities and experience with API/Microservices development process

• Experience working with software development and collaboration tools, like JIRA, Confluence

• Ability to execute systems and configuration implementation and upgrades independently or collaboratively with a team

• Experience building, configuring and testing of enterprise software deployment packages including producing detailed configuration design, deployment notes and other documents required to support the system configuration implementation

• Basic knowledge of software development principles, understanding of Microservices architecture and object-oriented programing

• Knowledge of configuration technical standards and Configuration Management practices

• Competency with highly configurable applications, analysis and definition of data and functional process requirements in support of business operational and reporting needs to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan

• An ability to communicate in both business/end user and technical language within organization and with external clients

• Strong time management, prioritization management, change management, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Adaptability to learn new technologies on the fly in a dynamic environment

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving team environment
