About the Position:

The Senior HR Specialist / HR Program Management position is part of the HR Advisory team that ensures people managers and employees are empowered to foster and maintain a positive working relationship and environment. This role will coach and enable employees and people managers as well as translate HR Advisory objectives into well-documented and scalable HR programs.

Job Description:

This role is looking for a candidate with both employee relations and HR program management experience, to include process design and documentation, service delivery model design and documentation, optimization, automation, stakeholder assessment, and change management. This position provides advisory and program services on a full range of functions regarding employee relations, performance management, and human resources development including, but not limited to, the following:

Key responsibilities: Counsels employees concerning work-related problems, provides feedback to management as necessary. Advises employees and supervisors regarding work-related issues including employee relations, policy and compensation. Liaises with global HR staff to ensure consistency of practice and advice, efficient sharing of information, ideas and resources and effective teamwork on special projects. Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects. Utilizing HR advisory objectives and the worked performed, by the team, creates effective and scalable HR programs Creates program plans, including process documents, delivery models, system requirements, training materials, and overall program timelines and milestones. Effectively sets and communicates program expectations to team members and stakeholders. Defines program success criteria and communicates to team throughout program life cycle. Proactively manages and communicates ongoing changes in program scope, identify potential risks and provide contingency plans. Facilitates meetings and drives program issues through to resolution Conducts end user training on new materials and tools to internal stakeholders

This role has a strong preference for candidates with the ability to easily travel to either our Wilmington, NC or Morrisville, NC location on an occasional basis.

Previous experience with HR systems, processes, trends, and best practices that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

HR program management experience required, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with different stakeholder sets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: HR Program planning, management skills and strategy concepts Proficiency in MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, principles and best practices Strong ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity Demonstrates executive presence and good presentation skills Strong ability to influence at all levels of the organization Skill in written and oral communication sufficient to prepare and present findings, recommendations, initiate specific action (s) and resolutions. Problem solving, judgement and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide high quality independent analysis, conclusions and recommendations Strong customer service orientation with “can-do” attitude and a desire to create exceptional experiences Ability to handle multiple projects with short timeframes, to meet deadlines and to deliver service in a timely manner Experience conducting, documenting or assisting with internal investigations Able to articulate and demonstrate PPDs mission, vision and values
