IMPORTANT:   In order to be considered for this position, a resume/CV must be uploaded and submitted during the application process.  Please make sure work history and education are added correctly.    Job Summary The role will support facilities systems within Charles River.    The initial and main focus will be IBM Maximo functional development, database administration and serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Charles River concerning Maximo, you will have functional knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.x with future enhancements to version 8.x  Although the position is not a development role it will require the use of some development and programmer competencies to complete work efforts for business. Experience with Maximo customization, scripting, configuration, installation and integration would be an advantage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS Advise the business on Maximo functionality and how it can deliver business objectives and requirements  Maximo platform configuration including Database Configuration, Application Designer, Domains, Conditional Expressions, Workflows, Security Groups, Users, and the general functions of Maximo. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL scripting language and its relationship to the Maximo database system and the Maximo data model enabling outputs, trouble shooting and updates of   Saved Queries for end users  Start Centre Result Sets  Key Performance Indicators Charts/graphs  Conditional expressions Workflows  Communication templates Reports   Objects and Attributes Lookup maps Condition Monitoring Datasheets Safety Plans Extend Maximo functionality using automation scripting. Able to write Python/Java and other Scripts with appropriate Structuring, Error handling and Maximo Business Object reference and usage Works with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Maximo Enterprise Adaptor (MEA), or other Maximo data migration/integration tools and methods to load new or update existing data in bulk without bypassing Maximo validation at a proficient level Works with other Maximo related technologies, including mobile devices/hand held computers (Maximo AnyWhere), and Barcoding at a proficient level. Develops customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer; anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction. Develop documentation and provide training to users as appropriate. Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems, working with IBM to resolve issues. Informally mentor less experienced team members on an as needed basis. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or scientist subject Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience
