This role pays a $2000 sign on bonus with a annual salary of $115,000 + benefits.

 

We are seeking an experienced Vivarium Training Program Manager for our Insourcing Solutions CRADL site located in South San Francisco, CA. This position is offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus!!!

 

In this role you will manage the development, delivery, and continual improvement of the training program, including technical skills training and assessment for employees and clients as well as new employee onboarding and mentorship within the training line. Assist in creation and implementation of new employee onboarding programs across Charles River Accelerator & Development Labs (CRADL) . Maintain a training program in accordance with Charles River core values, CRADL programmatic documents, Charles River policy, and all federal, state, and local regulations. 

 

In order to implement the training program, you will need to develop good working relationships with the site management and veterinary team, IACUC office, technical and husbandry staff, client researchers, and mentees. You will need to stay familiar with IACUC training protocols and ensure all training animal use is complaint with both the protocol and with institutional policies. Look for and identify novel practices with potential to improve the training program.

Job Qualifications Education:   Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in animal or equivalent in animal or laboratory science, business, or related discipline. Experience: Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience with rodents in a laboratory animal setting with technical experience, of which two (2) years is management, supervisory or team lead experience. Certification/Licensure:  AALAS certification at the Laboratory Animal Technologist level (LATG). CVT, LVT, or RVT certification preferred.   An equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
