Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as an Account Manager and be a part of our CAD. We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to manage customer accounts and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed sales targets. This position is located in Shanghai.

As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. You will play a key role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the East area.
A day in the Life:
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets and objectives
- Develop and nurture strong connections with individuals who make important decisions and are involved in the project.
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of customer orders and resolve any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

It is essential to have excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with a wide range of customers. Additionally, problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work well in a team are key to succeeding in this role.
Education
- Equivalent experience in lieu of a formal education is welcome.
Experience
- Typically requires a university degree, preferably in a technical field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Typically requires 5 years of sales management experience with a proven successful track record in a related product area.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Highly developed negotiation skills for customer interaction and closure of sales and other issues.
- Excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills to a diverse audience is critical to the success of this position.
- Systematic problem-solving by working with customers and account team.
- Presentation skills and creating materials for presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ability to work in good cooperation within an account team.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
This position may require travel to customer sites and factory locally.
