Parexel's Customer Marketing Strategy Manager is responsible for executing a pipeline activation strategy that contributes to market-leading growth and the achievement of annual commercial performance objectives. The Marketing Manager will closely partner with U.S. commercial teams to identify opportunities where the Marketing Strategy function can make the greatest impact. This includes prioritizing bid defense/RFP opportunities and designing and deploying Account-Based Marketing programs and tactics to engage qualified customers at high-growth priority accounts. The Marketing Manager will pull-through Parexel’s thought leadership at every opportunity, demonstrating our differentiation using insights and modern marketing techniques to build prospects'/customers’ trust in Parexel.

Customer engagement

  • Ensure a deep understanding of prospective / customer organizations, their needs, and preferences
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to define customer strategy for priority RFP / Bid Defense and other customer engagement opportunities in the pipeline.
  • Using Salesforce and other sources, conduct research to identify high-value accounts
  • Create and execute multi-touch account-based marketing programs that focus on demand generation and deal acceleration within our most strategic high-growth accounts.
  • Produce highly targeted materials and messaging, including customized collateral to enable sales.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to plan and execute small scale events (lunch n’ learns, breakfast meetings or webinars) for priority accounts.
  • Engage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and engagement with the company vision, commercial priorities and brand strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with account teams and customers. Act as a link between the sales team and corporate/brand marketing, ensuring materials meet brand requirements and messaging is consistent.
  • In partnership with marketing operations, measure and report on the impact of marketing’s role in support of overall account and business goals.
  • Manage vendor/designer relationships and partnerships.
  • Responsible for budget management.

  • Establish productive relationships with commercial, marketing, SME and other business colleagues.
  • Acts as an effective brand ambassador, communicating across the commercial organization.

  • Understands CRO industry competitive dynamics and the biopharma industry.
  • Prior success as an effective cross-functional collaborator and driving results in a matrix environment and through cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
