Senior Biostatistician, SAS, single sponsor-dedicated – home- or office-based, EMEA

  • As a Senior Biostatistician in our sponsor-dedicated Flexible Solutions business unit, you are central to the successful delivery of complex clinical trials (phases IIb-IV) for renowned, innovative and global top pharmaceutical companies. Oftentimes you will have the opportunity to lead studies through various phases of the clinical development plan and support submissions, regulatory questions, publications as well as ad hoc and post hoc requests. In this role, you will develop and review Statistical Analysis Plans for data presentation, analyses, and provide programming support to your multidisciplinary global project team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans/mock shells
  • perform lead statistician role
  • perform all statistical programming tasks (with SAS) for clinical research projects (including programming/review of statistical tables, figures and listings)
  • perform complex statistical analyses
  • review Case Report Form (CRF) and other study specific documents
  • provide statistical input to Clinical Study Report (CSR), review Clinical Study Report
  • present and share knowledge at team meetings
  • represent the department during client driven audits

Your profile:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer sciences, etc.
  • Solid professional experience as a Biostatistician within a biotech, CRO or pharmaceutical company
  • Demonstrated knowledge of base SAS, SAS macros, SAS/STAT; demonstrated ability to debug SAS programs
  • Proven professional experience with SDTMs, ADaM datasets and TFLs
  • Prior experience working with oncology data (safety and efficacy) is preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts
  • Strong organizational skills, an autonomous and collaborative work style, a curious mind and a keen attention to detail
  • Business fluency in English – both verbal and written – is a must
