Team Lead, PCS

Our Language Services team is part of our Commercialisation and Outcomes group, working out of our offices in Abingdon (UK), Raleigh-Durham (US), Lyon (France), Barcelona (Spain), and Seoul (Korea). The team provides translation of clinical trial related materials for both internal and external clients. The translation group consists of office-based teams with varied responsibilities, managing projects and liaising with our clients and freelance translators.

We currently have an opportunity for a Team Lead based out of our Lyon office. In this role you will actively supervise and manage the electronic implementation team and will be responsible for project management (60 % billable).

Role responsibilities:

* Maintain acute awareness of the pharma / biotech / medical device industry landscape as it relates to department specific service-related trends and challenges and guides awareness for junior staff.

* Drive understanding and awareness of project team members on the nature of client relationships and supports the building/broadening of these relationships where appropriate.

* Proactively develop new project management practices and operational systems to drive project efficiencies, quality and risk management.

* *Oversee functional team of project and/or operational staff ensuring proper training and resourcing levels. .

* Develop and mentor staff through training and coaching opportunities and by creating process guides, best practice documents and other materials. FUNCTIONAL *Monitors and ensures PCS staff are providing a level of service and quality deliverables which falls within our high standards May manage a portfolio of active projects.

* Identify and assesses risk in projects and build in assumptions to the proposal to address those risks.

* Actively contribute to organizational learning by obtaining internal/external client feedback and tracking issue resolution.

* Supports the development of new staff by carrying out designated training plan and serving as a mentor.
