Basic Summary We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant, Virology for our PA-Biologics Testing Solutions sites located in Wayne, PA. You may be required to work a rotating shift schedule that may require weekend hours.

The laboratory assistant will be responsible for supporting the technicians working in the Virology laboratories. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare media and laboratory solutions. Monitor and clean laboratory and lab equipment. Empty trash and stock supplies. Make detailed observations and maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of all work. Maintain inventory of necessary supplies by ordering and / or preparing reagents, media and solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of related college coursework preferred.  Related experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to perform basic math functions. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a small group or one on one setting. Must be able to regularly wear safety equipment and clothing in compliance with OSHA regulations and company SOPs.
