we are seeking an experienced

Supervisor

Logistics, Shipping and Reception (m/f/d)

Support us with: Manage a team consisting of warehouse, shipping (Import and Export) and reception. Ensure the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods as well as the handling of all formalities with forwarding companies, authorities and courier services, respectively Organize and Manage the central and customer-specific warehouse (ordering, recording, issuing) and maintaining inventory and order In organizing the smooth distribution of incoming goods to the appropriate storage facilities, including the S2/S3** laboratory area In the smooth dispatch of documents . Work closely with Purchasing and Accounting Departments at the Erkrath site As a communication and coordination point for questions regarding customs regulations and problems with the import and export of materials, biological samples, equipment, etc. to be shipped Continuous optimization of processes under the aspects of quality, costs and an appreciative working culture .

Who are we looking for: A self-motivated, creative, reliable, trustful and flexible leader with an analytical mindset and inclusive leadership style, eager to achieve results A talented team player with strong social and communicational skills who encourages cross-functional team collaboration Able to work within matrix operations and a multi-cultural environment .

Do you have:   A completed apprenticeship or several years of further education in the field of logistics Professional experience in management and administration of a warehouse Proven initial experience in managing a team Trained as a dangerous goods safety advisor or willingness to complete the appropriate training Interest in working in a biotechnological environment .   The ability to work in a very structured, goal-oriented and concentrated manner Strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills, high reliability and flexibility Strong service orientation Fluency in both English and German (oral and written) Computing and software – very good knowledge in MS-Office .
