Senior Contract and Proposal Analyst

Job Overview

The GBO team is looking for new professionals to join their team: Senior Proposal Developer and Senior Contract Analyst.
The main activities are to coordinate contracts, proposals and other designated processes for assigned customers to efficiently produce accurate and timely information.

Essential Functions

Senior Proposal Developer

• Review Requests For Proposal (RFP) and help to critically pick client needs.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to prepare studies budget and proposal text for bid processes, meeting clients expectations in quality, scope and timelines.
• Provide support and assistance to other Proposal Developers in the delivery of assigned opportunities and act as a senior figure within the department and departmental activities.
• Develop preliminary agreements, related budgets and scope of work.
• Ensure the scope of work is defined correctly and budgets reflect the scope.
• Be a compliance agent within the organization, certifying and advocating for the best processes.
• Participate and lead strategic calls to discuss customer requirements and identify discrepancies in customer information.
• Perform quality control edits on all documents and participate in the finalization of documents and distribution to the customer and internal departments.
• Update and maintain corporate databases as required and ensure accurate information is included in tracking reports.
• May participate in customer meetings.
• Participate in departmental initiatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Senior Contract Analyst

• Monitors client contract status and movement of contract from creation to execution.
• Ensure that we prioritize contracts considering finance metrics.
• Identifies potential contract risks and issues that may have an adverse effect on IQVIA, and communicates concerns to appropriate IQVIA representatives.
• Adopts best contractual practices, following IQVIA’s process and acting as a compliance agent within the organization.
• Consults with client representatives and IQVIA functions on business/legal issues associated with client contracts and seeks innovative solutions within approved parameters.
• Implements solutions associated with the client contracting process.
• Implements new contract processes, as appropriate, and communicate these new processes to the organization.
• Work in departmental initiatives as required.
• Work with budget in the clinical trial pricing exercise for work orders and change orders.
• Be the focal point for multidisciplinary teams, gathering inputs to be translated then to an active contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business Management or related field.
• 5 - 7 years experience in Contracts or Proposals or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• CRO Industry experience or Clinical Studies knowledge.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of costing models.
• Excellent knowledge of contract, proposals and budget processes and ability to interpret budgets and protocols.
• Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
• Advanced English.
