Job Overview

Direct Site & Patient Networks (S&PN) operations for a designated sub-region / country or a defined function. Contribute to development of plans to ensure the allocation of human, material, system and fiscal resources for assigned area of accountability. Collaborate with more senior S&PN staff to determine strategic goals and objectives, ensuring operational alignment with senior management priorities. Lead or contribute to sub-regional/functional/country strategic initiatives and work with senior management across disciplines to develop implementation plans. May be responsible for some or all of the following activities at any one time.

Essential Functions

• Contribute to the formulation of effective strategic goals for S&PN operations and take ownership for strategic initiatives including development of measures for success
• Provide leadership to ensure service offerings meet or exceed customer expectations. Ensure the improvement of the execution of S&PN processes
• Manage operational delivery to achieve outputs against pre-defined targets
• Contribute to the provision of strategic leadership and approval for the resourcing process and outcomes, hiring targets and processes and on-boarding and training standards
• Work collaboratively with project leadership, client representatives and other functional leadership to manage project related challenges and to achieve exemplary customer service
• Ensure quality and regulatory appropriateness and acceptance of all service offerings
• Support corporate or departmental quality or process improvement initiatives. May act as a client liaison for S&PN function

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Health care or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent
• 8 yrs of relevant industry experience with 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge of the drug development processes and in depth knowledge of S&PN processes and practices.
• Proficient ability to analyze metrics and information; ensuring activities and strategies are data driven
• Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines
• Knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods
• Good leadership skills
• Effective presentation skills
• Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
• Effective organizational and problem solving skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
