Job Summary This role will primarily support Commercial invoicing and the lead finance analyst.  The analyst will be responsible for various contract types and respective invoicing:  firm fixed price (FFP), time and material (T&M), and cost reimbursement.  This role will also be exposed to government invoicing and  support as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•    Perform order entry for contracts and modifications into SAP and validate against signed client agreement or internal contract brief

•    Read, analyze, and interpret contracts and related documents and apply information to invoicing and reporting practices

•    Maintain contract specific rate decks to include T&M, Cost Reimbursement of Fixed Price billing milestones.

•    Review and organize non-labor vendor expenses to ensure we can bill the client for them. 

•    Prepare journal entries as required

•    Maintain billing work files to validate SAP invoice calculations and support month end revenue accruals

•    Analyze discrepancies and research variances

•    Prepare copy, file, and email monthly customer invoices

•    Update Billing Log monthly, confirm client received invoice and SAP to confirm payment was received by the company.

•    Provide positive and productive customer support to internal and external customers and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner

•    Perform all other related duties and ad hoc reporting as assigned Job Qualifications •    Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. 

•    Experience:  2-4 years related experience in finance, accounting, or related discipline.  Prior experience with commercial or government cost-based invoicing required. 

•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the above specific education and experience listed.

•    Certification/Licensure:  None

•    Other:  Excellent spreadsheet skills required, time management skills, and detailed oriented.  Proficiency working with SAP and Dassian is a plus, Microsoft Word and Outlook required and knowledge/background in contracts is helpful.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and organizational skills.  Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•    Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

•    Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

•    Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various software applications, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•    Remote work for now; however, individual may be required to work out of the office in the future.  

•    General office working conditions.
