In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Basic Summary We are seeking a Senior Plant Operator for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.

The Senior Plant Operator will be expected to operate, repair, maintain and adjust boilers, pumps, compressors, water lines, steam lines, valves and all related systems and equipment. Operate and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on the chilled water system, cooling towers, and associated pumps and equipment.  Perform a variety of master level mechanical and pressure/temperature and refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance requiring close interface with other trade/craft functions. Maintain a preventative maintenance scheduled for all HVAC equipment including belts, filters, and other mechanical tune-ups to prevent equipment degradation.  Perform other master-level tasks in the general maintenance of the physical plant and provide work direction to others performing HVACR related work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage service contracts for all building mechanicals to include chillers, cooling tower, HVAC to include all steam lines and Siemens controls, air/vacuum systems and generators, RTUs.   Daily walk through of the facility infrastructure to include but not limited to: mechanical rooms, boiler room and second floor mechanical mezzanine. To include rooftop mechanical areas.   Monitor building systems & temperatures.   Troubleshoot and resolve any issues.  Responsible for maintaining water softener system to ensure that the salt level is within acceptable limits and maintaining softener salt inventory. Boiler daily PM service to include daily boiler management.     Infrastructure and facility PM program to include: performing regularly scheduled minor facility equipment maintenance Infrastructure equipment includes steam generation and chilled water systems, vacuum, air, cooling tower, condensate reclaim system, water softener, HVAC Fire Protection, domestic water.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) and trade school diploma. Ten or more years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure: Valid Boiler Operator License, Valid HVAC license (where required by state).
