Senior Director, Facilities

Parexel is looking for a Senior Director, Facilities to join their team in Durham, NC!

The Senior Director, Facilities will oversee facilities management across national and global areas. Ideally, the Senior Director will have considerable real estate and corporate management experience and must have managed a large number of locations in the corporate real estate arena (relocation of offices, leases, etc).

Key Accountabilities:

Budget Control - Manage operational spend of real estate portfolio in region, to be in line with budget targets, through the identification and implementation of efficiencies and cost saving measures.

Operational Oversight - Ensure the effective and efficient management of offices, leases and services in region, to be comparable with best industry practice.

Monitor progress and performance, and provide updates to Department Leadership.

Resource Management - Oversee the direct and indirect management of people resources assigned to region, to ensure effective communication, performance and training. Lead and manage third-party broker, construction and legal partnerships relating to real estate transaction services.

Stakeholder Relationships - Regularly engage with key stakeholders to build and maintain relationships and improve functional visibility.

Compliance - Ensure compliance with all corporate, government and local authority policies with emphasis on health, safety and well-being of staff. QualificationsKnowledge and Experience:Proven financial analysis, lease negotiation, contract management and real estate database skills10+ years in managing/supporting corporate real estate portfolio or related (professional level)Relevant exposure to senior leadership in a head-office environment essentialActed in capacity of department head and related staff oversightThorough understanding and experience in project managementExperience in managing property portfolio in North and Latin America
