IMPORTANT:   In order to be considered for this position, a resume/CV must be uploaded and submitted during the application process.  Please make sure work history and education are added correctly.    Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our Global Talent Acquisition Team.  This is a remote position within the U.S. 

 

As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will provide recruiting support for multiple areas of recruitment within Charles River Labs. You will partner with a group of Recruiters with their open requisitions so those positions can be filled in a timely manner, cost effective, and with a quality driven manner.  Ensure the hiring process runs smoothly, with a positive experience for both the candidate and our stakeholders while managing the day to day talent acquisition operations processes. 

The following are responsibilities related to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator:

•    Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all talent acquisition touch points and enhance the Charles River Labs Employer Brand; 

•    Establish credibility and remain engaged with Recruiters and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring process;

•    Complete all TA activities flawlessly to ensure the process is executed in line with the Charles Rivers Labs talent acquisition process;

•    Ensure recruitment activity is updated in an accurate, compliant and timely manner within the applicant tracking system;

•    Always ensure the Recruiter is informed of issues when escalation is required so the recruiter can interface with the candidate and hiring manager;

•    Serve as role model/mentor to other staff members;

•    Mentor and train new and existing Talent Acquisition Coordinators; 

•    Schedule interviews, communicate interview details to the candidate and the interview panel making sure they have all information necessary (candidate resume, detailed instructions, interview logistics, etc) including candidate travel as needed; 

•    Continued recommendation for improving talent acquisition processes;  

•    Contribute to the offer management process (creates offer packets (letter and appropriate NDA)

•    Manage, per local process, the Security checks, and the pre-employment process by running background checks and drug screens; 

•    Monitors and reviews the employment screening results while partnering with the Recruiter, HRBP and/or Security/Legal as needed;

•    Initiates and monitors pre-boarding activities to ensure a timely completion; 

•    Closing of job requisitions within the applicant tracking system;

•    Escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution;

•    Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations;

•    Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor;

•    Other duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator position:

•    High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR/Recruiting Administrative experience in a fast paced, customer-focused environment; 

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Knowledge of common HR/recruitment practice/process; 

•    Excellently demonstrated interpersonal skills and team orientation; 

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook); 

•    Demonstrated excellent communications skills both written and verbal; 

•    Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize workload of multiple activities while maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail in a complex and fast paced environment;

•    Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive assignments to their completion

•    Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts

 

The following are preferred qualifications related to the Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator position:

•    B.S./B.A. with six (6) months of HR/Recruiting Administrative experience in a fast paced, customer-focused environment; 

•    Knowledge in SuccessFactors
