We are seeking a Specialist, Product Operations to support our Microbial Solutions business.

 

The Product Operations team is focused on operational excellence to support Charles River Microbial Solutions’ diverse and fast-growing product portfolio. The Product Operations Specialist partners with product managers across all brands in the role of master problem-solver. This position is extremely cross-functional, working across the organization to develop scalable processes that support world class product lifecycle management. What You’ll Do

   Support development of scalable systems, processes and templates to drive product life cycle management  Partner with customer service, sales operations, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, project management, finance, IT and other functions to solve problems  Work closely with product managers to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions  Use visualization tools to document processes and interdependencies, identify gaps, and propose solutions Support process harmonization and implementation of best practices across the portfolio Utilize technology stack to drive efficiencies Incorporate product management operational metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making Act as change agent for new processes and technologies Job Qualifications  

What We’re Looking For

   Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in life sciences or related discipline  1-2 years of experience in a product management, commercial, supply chain or related role in a life science or product manufacturing company  Extremely strong communicator and problem-solver  Comfortable seeing problems as challenges  Ability to quickly develop business relationships across different functional areas on a global basis, both in-person and remote  Works independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; very proficient at project prioritization and time management  Strong conflict resolution and analytical skills  Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with business analytics, data visualization, CRM or dynamic work design a plus  Change agent; ability to manage through uncertainty
