Parexel's Global Sales Training Program Manager is responsible for delivering and maintaining all needed training programming, consultancy, and coordination to support all aspects of Parexel’s Commercial and Consulting Organizations, including our Enterprise, Biotech and Commercial Operations teams as.

Commercial Team Development

  • Own the Commercial Onboarding Program (Pre to Post) to ensure a smooth transition into Parexel Commercial New Hires. 
  • Own all current and future Commercial development programs including Consultative Selling, Bid Pursuit Meeting Training, etc.
  • Conduct regular needs assessments with key stakeholders, leaders, and roles within Commercial to surface any additional development gaps or needs.
  • Align available Parexel professional, management and leadership programming to the needs of roles across Commercial.
  • Support training efforts driven by the Commercial Operations and Strategy team through consultation, aligning L&D support when needed, and running training compliance and completion reports.

Program Facilitation & Management

  • Demonstrate facilitation skills that are engaging, credible and highly impactful in translating key learnings – particularly to those in the Commercial space
  • Participate in planning and scheduling of program sessions and events, including calendar coordination, request for LMS set up, venue/delivery method selection, virtual meeting coordination and production and managing program communications

Analyses & Communication

  • Track, review and report out on all key performance metrics for all Commercial development programs including program participation, level 1 course evaluation and other key metrics that demonstrate whether training investments are having a positive impact.
  • Track and drive training compliance expectations across commercial to ensure key corporate expectations on training compliance are met and maintained.
  • Lead Commercial’s Training Review Committee which includes key stakeholders and leaders across Commercial who are able to provide input, direction and support decision making related to training investments and programming for Commercial.

Research

  • Research and provide Industry Insights and Competitive Insights as it relates to best practices in learning and the support of a sales team.

Partnership Training Support

  • Ensure Parexel’s Partnership Training Leads and their efforts to assign training required by Parexel’s partnerships are supported to ensure the processes are working as needed and that best practices and optimization of learning solutions are being applied. 
  • Serve as the Partnership Training Lead’s connection point between the expectations they need to drive and how they will be received and carried out on the operations teams.   
  • Identify opportunities for Partnership training assignment process improvement.

Skills and Capabilities required to be successful in the role:

  • Business Partner:  Partner with Commercial SMEs, leaders, HRBPs and Training Business Partners (TBPs) to define and refine the learning strategy for Commercial and to make that strategy a reality that aligns across the function.
  • Needs assessment: Consult and strategize with global business leaders to analyze and define the right training requirements, identify the capability gaps and structure the appropriate training requirements (with support of instructional design consultants) to build required organizational capability
  • Credible Expertise: Apply learning & development expertise to build credibility and trust with key leaders, challenge assumptions and influence how Commercial invests in training 
  • Project Management: Lead all training workstreams and training design projects and manage them through the project lifecycle.  Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Curriculum Management:  Provide counsel and high-level oversight on all Commercial role-based curricula assignments
  • Facilitation Skills:  Deliver core Commercial learning programs in a compelling, credible and engaging way that ensures the accurate translation and retention of key concepts.
  • Quality Management: Ensure training delivery quality and the content meets business and (when required) regulatory requirements. Collect feedback on all responsible training content to ensure continuous improvements
  • Compliance Management: In partnership with the business leaders and SMEs, identify the right target audience, assign appropriate training and report on compliance. Assess compliance with business and function leaders on a regular basis
  • Key Stakeholder Management:  Sustain the appropriate communication with businesses, functions, and regional audiences regarding the availability of new and existing training opportunities 
  • Learning Advisor: Guide business leaders on best practices in learning, best ways to prescribe learning and ensuring that learning investments (time and money) are serving to support the needs of Commercial and Parexel.
  • Travel:  Be available / willing to travel up to 15% of the time

Education
